What we collect
- Account info: email, name (optional), hashed password.
- Billing: handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
- Usage: pages visited, signals viewed, watchlist entries.
- Diagnostics: IP, browser, OS, errors — for security and debugging.
What we do with it
- Run the service (auth, billing, dashboards).
- Improve the product (aggregate analytics).
- Send transactional email (receipts, security alerts).
- Send the weekly digest if you opt in. You can unsubscribe any time.
What we never do
- Sell your data to third parties.
- Share your watchlist or trading interests with anyone.
- Use your data to train external AI models.
Subprocessors
We use trusted vendors to run the service: Railway (hosting), Postgres (database, hosted on Railway), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and pseudonymous analytics.
Cookies
We use session cookies for auth and a single analytics cookie. No advertising trackers.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account at any time from your account page or by emailing privacy@getedgesignal.com. We respond within 30 days. EU/UK users have GDPR rights; California users have CCPA rights.
Retention
Account data: while your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion. Billing records: 7 years (legal requirement). Diagnostic logs: 90 days.
Children
EdgeSignal is not for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
